3. He learned that his desires were unfulfilled. In hell, he begged for a drop of water to cool his tongue, but could not receive it. |
4. He learned the duty to love other people. The rich man's flagrant sin was failure to love others. In hell, he begged someone to warn his brothers. |
5. He learned the decision he should have made in this life. He learned that the most important decision was to receive Christ. He begged for God to send Lazarus to his brothers that they might make that decision, but it was too late for him. |
