This page will be slow loading because it has many pictures on it. The wait will be worth it as you check out what we did this year in VBS. You may see a larger copy of each picture by clicking on it, it will open in another window so that all you have to do to return to this page is close that window (or for webtv visitors, just hit your BACK button).

Vacation Bible School

June 3 - 8, 2001

Theme - Truth Trackers

Our theme this year was archeology. There were many treasures to find. We even had our own pyramid! And everyone needed a passport for our adventure.

We had groups for everyone, even the adults. The Youth group served as assistants and technicians and had their VBS program at another date.

We had some special visitors a couple of nights. One night a policeman came to show off his car, and two of his friends came too. You can just imagine what the parents thought that evening when they arrived that night to pick up their children and there in the parking lot sat three policecars with their lights flashing.

We have two very special people to thank for making it a wonderful Vacation Bible School this year. Brenda, our VBS Director, who did a wonderful job of organizing and running the whole thing and our pastor, who encouraged all the workers and VBS students.
